Description
This research project seeks to create innovative software that aids cancer patient caregivers,by improving their ability to access patient information, communicate with clinicians, and provide peer support. We seek to leverage the insights of stakeholders and subject matter experts as well as industry standards to enhance a caregiver facing SmartPhone app and related software developed in Phase I as well as integrate it with an electronic health record to ensure that clinicians will embrace our tool and that it won't adversely affect workflow. In addition, we seek to pilot our tool with caregivers and clinicians.
