Description
Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. (IS4S) with the Auburn University GPS and Vehicle Dynamics Lab (AU-Gavlab) developed a convoy Cruise Control Enhancement (CCE) in Phase I. Unlike existing cruise controllers, the CCE allows convoy spacing and truck speed to vary when fuel savings can be realized. The convoy CCE will be implemented on commercial and military trucks in Phase II for real-time operation and analysis.
