Description
Lynntech will design and build a laboratory scale reduced weight, environmentally stable, CBC device which is usable at Role 1 and higher which requires no cold chain storage. The device is specifically intended to be used by medical personnel deployed in Health Response Teams (HRTs) who are not lab technicians and who do not have rapid, reliable access to a hematology lab. To this end, the solution can not add significantly to their labor while increasing their diagnostic capacity in pre-hospital care. Lynntech will use state of the art microfluidic disposable cartridges and a micronized reader unit, capable of five part differentiation of WBCs as well as the usual RBC and platelet statistical measures, be self calibrating, and support storage, recall, and reporting for more than one hundred patients results in a HIPAA compliant way. Lynntech will use its internal team with experience in related development efforts as well as outside subject matter experts and their microfabrication facilities.
