Description
Based on our success in developing several the world’s first commercial high energy femtosecond fiber laser system and OPA systems, PolarOnyx propose, for the first time, a compact fiber laser pumped high energy mid-wave infrared laser to meet with the requirement of the Army solicitation A17-042. The laser is a hybrid fiber/solid state laser based MOPA incorporating our proprietary technology of pulse shaping and spectral shaping in generation of ultrashort MW-IR pulses from an OPA. A proof of concept experiment was demonstrated in Phase I. Detailed investigation will be carried out and a hardware will be delivered in Phase II.
