Description
Our goal is to provide the Department of Defense with a reliable, point-of-need diagnostic device that is field-deployable, appropriatelysensitive, and can be easily adapted for detection of a variety of biological targets that are of interest to the defense community. Phase I of thisproject was for the initial demonstration and development of our low-cost personal diagnostic platform (referred to as the PreparedNowsystem) for detection of two gastrointestinal (GI) pathogens. In Phase II we propose to advance the system by increasing the number and typeof GI pathogens detected and performing pre-clinical tests of our end-to-end solution.
