Description
During Phase I, Spectral labs proposes using our multi-disciplined engineering, quality assurance, and production staff to reverse engineer an NSN 6130-015487556 Battery Charger, P/N RF-5853-CH106 in order to become an approved source. We will prepare a Source Approval Request (SAR) which includes a complete Technical Data Package and Test Plans. Following established ISO 9001 certified processes, we will create the project plan which will include establishing the project management baseline (cost, schedule, technical), requirements capture and verification, design approach, data item tracking, and testing plans. The communications plan will include monthly status reports and regular tele-conferences to discuss progress, risk, and upcoming events. Our processes require that we evaluate each component for obsolescence, avoidance of sole source parts, and compliance to other contractual procurement clauses. Participating in this program will provide Spectral Labs with the experience to pursue future business with the DLA Value Management Unit.
