Description

Supercapacitors have attracted considerable recent attentions due to their high-power density, and long cycle life. Unfortunately, the energy density of supercapacitors is too low to meet these applications requiring an energy supply for longer periods (hours or days). Storagenergy Technologies Inc. proposes to develop a superior all solid-state battery (ASSB) fabricated by additive manufacturing technologies. By the end of the project we will demonstrate an all solid-state battery prototype, with the following features: high energy density (>500 Wh/L), high power density, high stability (> 10,000 cycles), low self-discharge rate, high safety, and good thermal stability (-40~85oC).
