Description
During the Phase I effort, TSC reviewed the requirements for the Multi-Mission Launcher (MML) and verified the DLU could satisfy these requirements. In addition, TSC performed a laboratory demonstration of the DLU which verified that the system could implement different modulation schemes on a time critical basis. By completing this demonstration, TSC verified our DLU solution to be TRL-5. By executing the Phase II effort, TSC expects to mature the technology to TRL-6/7 which will allow for seamless transition into current and future ground based uplinks to various missile platforms. The SBIR Phase II effort will concentrate on the demonstration of the uplink system in a relevant environment and modulation schemes for missile platforms envisioned in the TDMA architecture. Once complete, it will be ready for testing in an operational environment.
