The flow of equipment, repair parts, and other materiel to the Warfighter is critical to his or her success in the field.As a result of this critical need for materiel, DLA employees must contend with the difficult task of promoting and encouraging the reuse and disposition of excess property.With the advance of e-commerce sites and modern networks, searching a catalog for property has become a relatively simple and easy task for users.However, the data entry that populates these catalogs and provides information to the end users is a tedious process and represents a significant opportunity for improvement. In Phase II of this SBIR, TSE will build upon the successful prototype development of Phase I to test, integrate, and accredit SnapTrack, a mobile app for rapidly taking photos and capturing property info from disposal turn-in documents (DTID). SnapTrack will streamline the process of receiving property, capturing tracking and descriptive data, taking photos, and uploading to DLAs existing RTD Web system.
