Description
Vigilant Cyber Systems, Inc. (VCS) has designed a Cyber Battle Damage Assessment Tool (CyBDAT) to quantify the probabilities associated with Computer Network Attack (CNA), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) and Electronic Attack (EA) and allow for the direct comparison of cyber-attacks and kinetic attacks in mission planning. In Phase I VCS completed the high level design of CyBDAT, completed the design of high risk components, and implemented a proof-of-concept comparison tool. In Phase IIB of this research, VCS proposes to complete the development and testing of the prototype CyBDAT toolset. Completing the development of the system will provide the DoD with a tool that can be transitioned into a program of record.
