Description

ARAI auto-injector platform was developed from the ground up to meet the DoD requirements for a Next Generation auto-injector, and offersimproved Human Factors, improved drug stability, extremely robust, glass free construction, and versatility to accommodate a broad range oftreatments and treatment combinations, in terms of dose volumes, drug formats including wet, wet-wet, and wet-dry combinations, treatments that require mixing or reconstitution just prior to injection, and treatments that need to be delivered simultaneously whileavoiding mixing. In the original Phase II of the program AktiVax advanced a single liquid configuration of ARAI to TRL 4. We've develpedprototype manufacturing capability perfomred over 3000 test runs and succesfully completed Human Factors evaluation and environmentaltesting according to MIL_STD 810G. In the proposed Sequential Phase II we are proposing to develop ARAI Mx - a multi-chamber configurationthat stores two drug constituents separately, and automatically mix or reconstitute these constituents just prior to injection. ARAI Mx designiwill be built on the framework of the successful ARAI platform.
