Description
Extend previous work on this SBIR to perform requirements development, satellite design and analysis, radiation testing, and spacecraft bus engineering module procurement and manufacturing. Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT) is excited about this follow-on opportunity to continue the work of our previous SBIR efforts, by supporting AFRL in the design and development of a prototype Bus. BCT is uniquely positioned to support AFRLs Micro-Satellite Bus efforts. Our production line philosophy, technical performance, and turn-key services are a natural match for the effort. We have demonstrated high production manufacturing capability for our ADCS products (reaction wheels, star trackers torque rods, control electronics) and are currently leveraging the same production line philosophy for our XB line of nano spacecraft. We have over 15 spacecraft in development for a range of NASA, commercial, University, and defense customers. In addition, we are providing payload integration, launch vehicle integration, and mission operations for multiple spacecraft, including various regulatory aspects as well.
