Description

Ciphertrace proposes to research a solution that uses blockchain technology to create a secure messaging and transaction platform with a decentralized blockchain ledger. This blockchain ledger will ensure the auditability and verifiability of messages, documents, transactions and smart contracts. The system will enable messages to be securely transmitted over various protocols, separating message creation, reception, verification and transfer. Ciphertrace will present thorough research of existing blockchain technologies, and recommend two for further investigation and prototyping for a potential Phase II project. Ciphertrace will address the issues of ensuring the security, scalability, availability and auditability of the platform. Additionally, Ciphertrace will investigate and propose hardware modules that can increase the security of the system. Ciphertrace will deliver reports, technology surveys, system architecture and high fidelity designs. The Phase I research will be grounded in our teams experience with building and operating blockchain related systems as well as high performance messaging and transaction systems.Ciphertrace proposes to research a solution that uses blockchain technology to create a secure messaging and transaction platform with a decentralized blockchain ledger.
