Description
This effort will provide new capability to AFNWC and to the DoD as a whole for lightweight shielding of munitions and related components and support systems from a broad spectrum of electromagnetic threats, such as EMP, EMI, and ionizing radiation. Technologies developed under Electromagnetic Hardened Electronics Enclosures (contract number FA8650-13-M-5043) include munitions enclosure system, such as flight control electronics enclosures, computing, communications, or other enclosures housing electronics that must be effectively shielded against EMI/RFI interference, EMP, and HEMP.
