Description
The overall technical objective of this effort is to develop and demonstrate a wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) optical network node capable of 10 Gbps operation and integrated built-in test (BIT). Freedom Photoniics will leverage its previous work in widely tunable transmitters, receivers and wavelength converters to develop an avionic node meeting Navy application targets.
