Description
FTL Labs Corporations SPARO is a method for achieving an optimal alignment for lower limb prostheses using a patient-in-the-loop approach. The device will quantify and dynamically align the prosthesis in the sagittal, frontal, and transverse planes, and will be applicable to a wide variety of active and passive prostheses (including activity-specific prosthetic devices such as a running foot), while accounting for patient input and prosthetist expertise. This device will provide real-time feedback to the care-provider and the patient; quantifying alignment deviations during use, and tracking alignment over time, while handling all data properly with regards to privacy.
