Description
The proposed work focuses on the advancement of the MU-MIMO networking technology designed and studied in the Phase I effort. Algorithms and protocols will be updated and enhanced to mature them to meet expected CONOPS. The MU-MIMO technology will be implemented into a small network test bed consisting of COTS software defined radios (SDRs) for performance evaluation in realistic environments. Incremental milestones and demonstrations are planned to provide increased testing and verification over time of the technology development. The Phase II effort will culminate in a MU-MIMO network demonstration to the Army customer. In addition, GIRD will evaluate legacy network radios for integration of the MU-MIMO technology.
