Description
Based on previous SBIR research and development, Global ET will create a Vehicle Power Management Controller (VPMC) to support the U.S. Army need for a vehicle power management in the Next Generation Combat Vehicle Electrical Power Architecture (NGCVEPA). The VPMC will have modular and flexible hardware architecture with a common microprocessor board and an application specific interface board. The microprocessor board will have hardware abstraction firmware and a method of integrating vehicle power management application software. The modular approach will allow the common hardware and firmware to be used across a variety of applications, which will allow for economies of scale benefits.
