Description

GLSV has developed a process and supporting technologies to provide affordable, high performance quiet mufflers to defense markets at low to mid production quantities typically experienced in the defense ground vehicle industry. GLSV has streamlined a process that provides for muffler and full exhaust system performance customization for a specific application. GLSVs process has provided for minimal non-recurring engineering to be required in order to qualify or optimize a muffler for a specific application. The technology is at a state where the tools and processes have been utilized in order to obtain a cost competitive contract to supply HMMWV mufflers to DLA. GLSV now seeks to further develop the modular exhaust process in an effort to increase fidelity of the design, analysis, and manufacturing of mufflers for defense applications so that the technology can be implemented throughout defense programs for a wide size range of ground vehicles and other applications.
