Description
In this proposal, Intelligent Fusion Technology Inc. proposes a high throughput cognitive heterogeneous adaptive operational system (CHAOS). The developed system can either operate on enhanced mode that provides secure and reliable mission-critical communications capabilities, or switch to degraded mode that uses commercial Wi-Fi or LTE network to deliver high-speed voice and data with high throughput rates. Technically, in order to maximize spectral efficiency and support multi-user communications, multi-user superposition transmission is deployed to enable data streams intended for multiple receivers to be transmitted over the same frequency band with differentiated transmission power levels. Noise-modulated covert communication is used to accomplish physical layer security by transmitting an additional masking signal on top of the superposed communication signal so that the eavesdroppers channel capacity can be intentionally degraded. It modulates the superposed signal with a Gaussian noise signal so that transmitted noise-like signal can provide a high degree of confidentiality, and enhance the covertness of data communication. Furthermore, a secure channel hopping scheme is proposed to demonstrate jam-resistance and a hierarchical wireless routing protocol is implemented to reduce route loops and ensure reliable message exchange in battlefield.
