Description

The US Army desires the development of a synthetic procedure which will afford phase-pure boron suboxide (B6O). Lynntech proposed a template synthesis scheme which combines pre-formed chemical moieties to generate the desired extended lattice structure. Lynntechs approach avoids potential pitfalls with regards to the single-atom substitutional disorder within the produced lattice.Lynntech and its assembled team is uniquely qualified for this task, combining their institutional knowledge and individual experience in deltahedral boron cluster chemistry, wet chemistry, solid-state synthesis, scale-up technologies, and materials characterization. The diverse team includes inorganic and organometallic chemists, diffraction experts, materials scientists, and engineers.
