Description
Snipers gain a decisive tactical advantage and provide significant psychological effect by delivering precise fire from concealed positions. Under difficult and rapidly changing downrange conditions, successful engagement often hinges on rapid follow-up shots with an applied corrective hold. The limits of depth perception prevent spotters from adequately estimating the precise point at which the observed bullet trace corresponds to the vertical plane of the target. Herein lays the problem: there is no commercially available system which is specifically designed for tracking precision rifle fire.Lynntech will provide a multi-spectral computer vision based system for bullet tracking and determining the sniper missed-distance corrective offset. Lynntechs bullet tracking and correction tool minimizes the time between initial engagement and successful re-engagement while simultaneously increases the probability of a hit on target. Lynntech and its assembled team is uniquely qualified for this task, uniting institutional knowledge and individual experience in ballistics, electro-optical imaging, computer vision, and sniper TTPs. The diverse team includes Aerospace and Mechanical Engineers, world-renowned external ballistic experts, military-trained snipers, and a retired military precision weapons armorer.
