Description
The proposed vehicle drive system introduces new technology to the ground vehicle sector in the form of a compact and rugged continuously variable transmission (CVT) featuring power transmission through meshing gears.It device can be installed as a stand-alone transmission or retrofitted into existing vehicle platforms.The practical approach packages within existing vehicle powertrain systems with little or no modification and offers more efficient power transfer for rubber tire or track driven vehicles.No maintenance is required beyond typical automatic transmission procedures.
