Description

Active Ride Control (ARC) has demonstrated itself effective at improving ride quality aboard vessels operating at high-speed in elevated seas.Operating in these conditions results in extreme shock forces that are too often debilitating for both crew and craft.Consequently, occurring during missions and training alike, indifferent to situation and circumstance, combatant craft personnel and their passengers routinely sustain significant and / or permanent injuries.Today, as a countermeasure to challenging sea conditions, USSOCOM relies almost exclusively on the skill and experience of its Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen. These specialists employ navigation, maneuver, trim, and throttle manipulation to mitigate impact while negotiating adverse maritime conditions.Recognizing shock as an omnipresent, formidable concern that compromises the safety and wellbeing of its personnel, USSOCOM seeks to appreciably limit the injury causing forces incurred aboard its vessels.Marine1 has a demonstrated solutionone that we confidently submit is uniquely capable of meeting and exceeding the objectives established herein.
