Description
This effort covers the application of commercially based 60GHz wireless technology to meet requirements for a secure, compact, low power, high bandwidth, low latency wireless data link module that can support intra-Soldier transmission of high resolution imagery, and selected other data for display to the soldier or its delivery to other end user devices. This Phase 1 effort includes relevant trade studies and demonstration of the commercially based link in a laboratory environment leading to a power, size, interface, and performance optimized chipset for soldier application out of Phase II.
