Description
The focus of this opportunity is to explore additional cyber resilience solutions for virtualized combat systems. Adding a virtualization architecture to Aegis and SSDS will provide an opportunity to leverage existing (and potentially new) cyber resiliency techniques in new ways, resulting in a more robust and resilient solution. We will provide a virtualization-centric framework for the orchestration and control of cyber resilient techniques. At its core, we will leverage the concept of units of portability enabled by virtualization in order to respond to detected cyber events. We will augment the identified techniques with advanced techniques based upon our understanding of DDS and our related work in virtualization architectures for the DOE. As a commercial software company, the expected result will be an advanced, stable, and resilient framework that will measurably extend and improve cyber resiliency for Navy combat systems.
