Description
The scope of Phase II will be significantly expanded compared to Phase I, addressing the other principal technical objectives needed for a full-featured system: coordination, mapping, autonomy and operator interfaces. We will also continue with the localization research started in Phase I, improving the developed methods to make them more robust to noise effects, faster and scalable to team sizes of more than four UAVs. Phase II will also focus on integration of sensors, algorithms and platforms. The end goal is to merge the proposed capabilities into a well-tested system that is easy to use, intuitive and can be extended with additional features.
