Description
During an 18-month Base Program Roccor will create, qualify and implement an affordable production-ready ROC Boom design for use in CubeSat antenna applications. The product development effort will position the ROC Boom technology for on-orbit flight validation in late 2017 and integration on a first 30-to-50-satellite operational system starting in 2018. In parallel, Roccor will create an ISO-compliant Q/A program including procedures for procurement and manufacturing with Q/A processes and production travelers finalized and validated to MRL 7. An 18-month Option Program will build on the base effort, and seek to expand the applicability and potential product lines of Roccors high strain composite booms to other deployable and/or robotic systems of interest to the Air Force.
