Description
SA Photonics has developed our Skylight FSO terminal for cubesat and small-sat applications. Skylight is a fully integrated FSO system including all data processing, optical transmitters and receivers, and integrated beamsteering in a 1U form-factor meeting the SWaP of cubesat applications. In this Phase II program, we will upgrade the Skylight system based on new and improved design concepts, and develop and deliver two flight units to the Navy. This upgraded Skylight system has a unique architecture that is very robust to shock and vibration. SA Photonics will support satellite integration and support on-orbit operation of the FSO terminals.
