Description
LightCables is a modular system designed for naval as well as many other applications. LightCables multiplexes a variety of tactical signals on board a warship, e.g. USS Lake Champlain equipped with Aegis combat system, onto an optical cable using ruggedized wavelength division multiplexing. The system is capable of handling low and high speed serial data links, digital video links, networking as well as RF/microwave links.
