Description
Southwest Sciences proposes a meteorological sensor for high sensitivity, compact and low power measurements of temperature, moisture, and pressure for UAS deployment. The targeted performance capabilities of Southwest Sciences meteorological sensor package will measure fine scale gradients of water vapor, temperature and pressure that will allow more accurate assessment of conditions that result in anomalous propagation of electromagnetic radiation in the radar and communication bands. Our proposed project builds on the extensive experience Southwest Sciences has in providing and supporting vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) hygrometer instruments.
