Description
Ship-to-shore communications in contested environments call for robust links that can achieve high data rates at beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) ranges in the presence of jamming attacks. Silvus proposes to develop an Anti-jam Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) by leveraging its high-throughput MANET and research portfolio in MIMO interference suppression and dynamic spectrum access technology. MANETs provide the flexibility to relay data through any radio in the network, enabling BLOS ranges that can scale according to the mission requirements. The proposed ANHCOR prototype is targeted at unmanned aerial, surface and ground vehicles as relays; the requisite low Size Weight and Power (SWaP) will be achieved by leveraging Silvus UAV-proven Streamcaster radio platform.
