Description
Tetramer Technologies, LLC, an advanced materials R&D company in South Carolina, will develop a novel security pigment and ink to be used in the production of tamper-evident and anti-counterfeit labelling and packaging. Current security inks often require extensive training or expensive equipment to be validated. Tetramer will model the desired novel pigment properties, synthesize pigments with these properties, formulate inks using these pigments, and print these inks to produce proof-of-concept label. Tetramers pigment and ink development will lead to the production of anti-counterfeit packaging that can be validated with little to no training using the items already available to personnel in nearly every situation.
