Description
XL Scientific is pleased to respond to the Army’s SBIR solicitation A16-123 entitled “Miniaturization of high average power, high peak power, wide bandwidth antennas”. To meet the Army's requirement, XL Scientific proposes the use of its "Ferengi" antenna concept. This antenna incorporates several design features which XL Scientific will optimize as part of the research effort to offer the following benefits – antenna miniaturization; UWB impedance matching; UWB radiated pulse dispersion compensation; UWB directionality and front-to-back ratio enhancement; HPM power handling and UWB array synthesis.
