Description
Various processes have been developed to manage uncertainty in data fusion processes so that accurate assessment of threats can be obtained. In our Second Adaptive Management and Mitigation of Uncertainty in Fusion (AMMUF) project, we will extend our probabilistic model of fusion processes to include threat object characterization tasks. This will allow system engineers to reason about different methods to improve battlefield fusion. In addition, we will use the extended AMMUF system to investigate and propose new fusion architectures and system interfaces, as well as to develop new threat object characterization methods that can take advantage of these improved designs.(Approved for Public Release 15-MDA-8482 (17November 15))
