Description
The proposed Phase II research will develop a comprehensive Big Data environment for the deserialization, parsing, transformation, loading, management, search, ad-hoc query, data mining, data fusion, and visualization of simulated missile defense data. This will include custom web-based user interface capabilities, supplemented by workflow management capabilities. Parallel implementations of data analysis algorithms will be developed for the Spark distributed execution framework. The environment will be tested using a variety of unclassified simulation log data sets. It will be demonstrated using a Big Data cluster to be located at Teledyne Brown Engineering facilities.
