Description
While many DC AC inverters are available on the market, inefficiency and legacy semiconductor technologies require active thermal management and large package sizes.Creare proposes to develop a very small and passively cooled inverter that reduces size while improving efficiency and reliability.During Phase I, we will develop a conceptual design and demonstrate key aspects with targeted laboratory evaluations.During Phase I, we will select the optimal approach.During Phase II, we will continue detailed development, culminating with demonstration of a full-scale prototype in a relevant test bed in support of the Combat Vehicle Prototype (CVP) Next Generation Power Architecture.
