Current simulation architecture relies heavily on pre-generated data in the form of look up tables.This paradigm is costly, time consuming and inflexible.Data for trajectories and signatures is generated off line then loaded into a simulation environment.This allows one to vary sensor locations and evaluate the effectiveness of missile defense for different blue force configurations.However, any changes in launch, threat parameters, timing of events, etc, or even the including of a new sensor requires new threat data to be generated.This proposal offers a solution for generating high fidelity missile threat data during the start-up and/or run-time of end-to-end missile defense simulations.We propose a partial solution that focuses on radar cross section data.Novel and innovative approaches to high fidelity RCS data are presented in a proposed design that would allow in situ generation of RCS data for new shapes and frequency bands without the need to go back to the drawing board.
