Description
Having successfully completed a Phase II program culminating in the delivery of 50 prototype SINCGARS antennas, FIRST RF understands the challenges of body-wearable antenna design and implementation. Given its substantial scope, FIRST RF recognizes that there is considerable risk involved in the Phase I effort. However, instead of starting from square one, FIRST RF will be able to leverage past work to meet the stated objectives of Phase I. Current dismounted radios provide larger spectrum capability than can be met by current body wearable antenna technology. The end goal is to fill the gap between radio capability and limited antenna bandwidth. FIRST RF will generate a comprehensive analysis package that looks at the SAR on the end-user at each of the operating frequencies in order to ensure occupational safety limits are not exceeded.FIRST RF has established the professional experience and the tools to accurately determine radiation exposure levels through both simulation and measurement.
