Description
GVD Corporation (GVD), in coordination with a major prime contractor, has developed a plan to demonstrate reliability without hermeticity (RWOH) for electronics packages to meet size, weight and cost requirements for UAV radars.The plan is enabled by GVD thin-film coatings which provide suitable environmental protection with negligible effect to RF performance. The proposed SBIR effort would produce a scaled, production-ready process which meets the needs for airborne and other radar platforms with significant size, weight, and power (SWaP) restrictions.
