Description
The current operational tempo and reliance on technology mandates a need for a faster and more efficient method to release updates into fielded systems. Continuous update capability across security domains will allow for deployed systems to be updated and secured as frequently as needed. The current system of quarterly or yearly delivery leaves vulnerabilities within the network that can exploited. The development of the proposed system will allow for continuous monitoring of the current vulnerabilities with delivery options based upon threat severity and network connectivity. By utilizing a cross domain system, the IAVAs can be distributed from the lowest classification network to all security domains and all compliance documentation can be maintained in one place for all security domains.
