Description

nou Systems, Inc. proposes the Contextual In-line Signature Injection (CISI) technique, an innovative and flexible software toolset for exploring the contextual requirements for signature fidelity based on missile defense functionality and sensor configurations, in response to the Missile Defense Agencys (MDA) SBIR Phase I Solicitation, Inline Threat Generation for Modeling and Simulation. The proposed software toolset uses basic sensor functionality to guide signature resolution. This approach leverages mission context to inform in-line signature rendering. The proposed technique combines mission context and mission-oriented performance metrics to determine appropriate signature fidelity for both IR and RF signatures. While the proposed software toolset will be developed in Matlab, the proposed modeling techniques can be implemented in other missile modeling tools such as the MDA Trajectory Generator External (TGX).The CISI system is ideally suited for development under the MDAs SBIR initiative and well positioned for further development and ultimate commercialization.
