Description
SA Photonics is pleased to propose our SnakeEye line-of-sight (LOS) stabilized miniature three-axis gimbal for use in small weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles.SnakeEye provides 100 rad rms three-axis inertial stabilization of cameras and receive optics mounted on the SnakeEye optical head, and simultaneously stabilizes the outgoing LOS of rangefinder, jammer, or designator laser beams transmitted forward through the gimbals Coud path. This LOS stabilization is provided throughout SnakeEyes +/-135deg conical field of regard (FOR).SnakeEye leverages technologies developed in previous SA Photonics gimbal programs, including a compact three-axis Coud-path gimbal and a compact LOS-stabilized three-axis gimbal, providing a low-risk development program for SnakeEye.
