Description
Spectral Sciences Inc. (SSI) proposes to address the need for real-time re-configurable infrared hyperspectral imaging (HSI) sensor by developing the Configurable ON-Demand Optical Reconnaissance (CONDOR) sensor, optimized to satisfy multiple-mission requirements through highly adaptive target detection, classification and tracking. The CONDOR sensor features programmable hardware enabling on-the-fly selectable detection modes and adjustable spatial/spectral/temporal resolution. The technology combines dual-stream hyperspectral (HSI) and hypertemporal imaging (HTI) data acquisition to facilitate generation of high fidelity HSI data from dynamic phenomena. This approach provides an entirely new dimension for standoff sensing that significantly enriches information content. The CONDOR sensors data processing capabilities couple SSIs innovative reconfigurable sensor design with our already well-developed and widely tested algorithms for HSI and HTI target detection and characterization.
