Description
ABSTRACT: STR proposes to develop and build a graphical representation to support the complex phenomenology necessary for multi-sensor fusion, exploitation and complex event reasoning for airborne-based tracking applications. Our system will interface with (1) low-level, short to medium duration fusion algorithms and (2) high-level patterns of life reasoning engines. Our system provides a capability to compile a feasible problem for each type of algorithm and incorporate results back into the database. In addition to encoding a typical set of entity and relationships, our data structure will also embed observation ambiguity and algorithm uncertainty.; BENEFIT: Our data representation will have the correct level of abstraction to support a wide variety of existing algorithms and allow a more seamless integration with existing systems.
