Description
ABSTRACT:Toyon Research Corporation proposes development of commercial satellite imagery processing algorithms and efficient software which ingests, registers, and fuses multi-source imagery, and which performs geo-registered change detection. The software will include imagery analytics to prioritize and/or filter target and/or event cues of potential interest to users, based on user input. Furthermore, Toyon proposes fielding of an application which provides these capabilities via the Cloud. The proposed cloud-based software application, Commercial Satellite Imagery-Constant Ubiquitous Exploitation (CSI-CUE), will provide tips/cues for potentially militarily relevant changes to users based on the preferences, including geographic regions of interest (ROIs), specified by the users.BENEFIT:We anticipate government users within the Air Force and other branches of the DoD and intelligence community (IC) interacting with the proposed CSI-CUE product via a web-based GUI. Personnel within non-DoD and IC branches of the US government, and US contractor personnel, once appropriately vetted, will be able to use the proposed product in much the same way as DoD and IC personnel. We anticipate that civilian applications abound, as well, including agricultural applications (e.g., crop monitoring) and scientific applications (e.g., glacier and volcano monitoring).
