Description
The Area-I team proposes to leverage its expertise and extensive design, analysis, and simulation tools to evaluate the design space of towed magnetic anomaly detection (MAD) systems with the goal of understanding the design trends and requirements in developing a new, lightweight rotorcraft-towed anti-submarine warfare (ASW) system that is optimized to take advantage of smaller state-of-the-art MAD sensors.
