Description
The Department of Defense (DoD) and the USAF have an identified need for more eco-friendly and durable concrete alternatives that do not rely on the use of Portland cement, an additive with known health hazards and safety concerns. The Department of Defense (DoD) and the USAF also have a desire to be more nimble and manage repairs and structure printing on their own without relying on third-party providers that require lengthy security clearance and upcharges. Our technology provides an almost 75-percent smaller support force, resulting in fuel, parts, equipment, and personnel reductions. necoTECH’s Rapid Concrete Deployment Machine (RCDM) enables rapid sustainment and structure printing, both on base and in mobile expeditionary use cases. It will also replace environmentally devastating Portland Cement material with upcycled and/or in situ material for more sustainable and nimble infrastructure.
