Description
In the proposed effort, Corvid Technologies will continue development of fast-running models for debris aeroheating and ablation, based on high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics and material response methods. The improved models, along with existing fast-running algorithms for post-intercept debris effects, will be incorporated into a software suite tailored for range safety assessments. This suite will offer significant improvements in test planning and design to test and evaluation personnel and at the major missile defense test ranges.
