Florida Turbine Technologies, Inc. of Jupiter, Florida proposes the combination of additive and subtractive manufacturing processes to significantly reduce part count, lead time and cost for development and production of FTTs Advanced Space propulsion Turbopump (FAST) Technology Liquid Oxygen (LOX) pump. The FAST LOX pump technology to be demonstrated signifies a significant leap forward in the use of additive manufacturing and will have a profound impact in the space propulsion turbomachinery industrys use of traditional fabrication and assembly processes for rocket engine turbomachinery which is very labor intensive and provides numerous opportunities for damage during processing.
